Executive Director


Heather is a 1992 graduate of KDS. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations from Auburn University in 1996. After graduating from Auburn, she returned to Marshall County and took a position with the Lake Guntersville Chamber of Commerce. Heather later moved to Huntsville where she gained more than 12 years experience in marketing, communications, public relations and fundraising and worked for such organizations as United Cerebral Palsy, the Huntsville/Madison County Convention Visitors Bureau, and the North Alabama Science Center.

On accepting the position at KDS, Ms. Green said, "I am thrilled to be part of the school that has had such an impact on my life, and I look forward to working to continue the rich tradition of educational excellence set forth by the Daughters of the American Revolution more than 85 years ago."

Heather is the daughter of Rick and Donna Keller Watson of Grant, both of whom are KDS graduates.

Heather has been married to Eric, an electrical engineer she met while they were both attending Auburn, for more than fifteen years. They have one son, Aiden, who is ten years old. Heather and her family live on the KDS campus in Nell Fallaw Cottage.
