Help KDS Students Have a Super School Year

KDS DAR School faculty and staff members are busy preparing to welcome more than 1,300 students back to campus for the 2022-2023 school year, and you can help make it the best year yet!

A gift to the KDS Children’s Fund provides essential items like shoes, coats, backpacks, and healthcare needs for children in need.  It can also pay the fees for students who wish to play sports or join clubs but cannot afford it otherwise.  Last year, more than 75 students received direct assistance through the Children’s Fund. Contributions to this fund are needed as requests for student support continue to increase.

Blessings Bags is a valuable program that provides food packs for schoolchildren who have limited access to food on the weekends. There are currently more than 275 KDS students in grades Pre-K through 6th grade who receive the weekly packs. These students must be sponsored annually at a cost of $100 each.

KDS students have access to a Patriot Pantry in each school which is stocked with ready-to-eat foods and snacks, personal items, and school supplies that can be accessed discreetly throughout the school day.

College classes can be expensive, and we believe students should not miss out on opportunities for educational growth because of financial limitations.  Dual Enrollment Scholarships ensure that all KDS students can take advantage of rigorous college courses while still in high school.

There are many valuable programs which directly benefit KDS students, and every gift, large or small, makes a difference in the life of a child.
