127th ASDAR State Conference

The Alabama Society Daughters of the American Revolution (ASDAR) demonstrated their ongoing support for patriotic education and KDS DAR School at the 127th ASDAR State Conference in Auburn, Alabama, held March 6-9.

During the Opening Night Session, 2025 KDS Continental Congress Representatives Avery Martin and Abram Stewart spoke about the significance of KDS and the impact the school has had on their lives. Following the session, KDS Board Chair Melvina Phillips and Development Director Jason Hodges shared updates about the school at the Sundaes with the School's Ice Cream Social, and Avery and Abram displayed memory boards and shared their KDS experience with the Alabama Daughters.

The student representatives spent the weekend manning an information table to discuss the school's projects and programs and sell promotional items. The conference provided an opportunity to share the KDS story with both long-time and new DAR members and to celebrate the presence of a DAR School in Alabama, while expressing gratitude to its supporters, the Alabama Daughters.
