DAR Revolutionary Robotics Challenged with Underwater Exploration Tasks

Writer's picture: Jason HodgesJason Hodges

The DAR Middle School Robotics team was challenged to develop an innovation project, a new exploration LEGO-based robot, and compete against 57 other Alabama teams. The team developed an actual seaworthy computerized ocean buoy. The team's robot took on 15 missions and placed 12th in last weekends competition. Congratulations to mentor/coach, David Barr, on receiving the Mentor Award. We are proud of these students and their lead coach Mrs. Putman. You can follow these developing engineers on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/DARMiddleEngineering. Great job team!
