KDS DAR High School Art Students Honored

KDS DAR High School was well represented at this year’s Alabama District 4 Congressional Art Show sponsored by Congressman Robert Aderholdt at Wallace State Community College. More than 20 pieces of art were entered by KDS students in categories such as painting, drawing, photography, collage, computer generated, and mixed media. Three KDS artists earned honors.

Senior Caroline Gray’s Collage earned her the 1st place plaque and a scholarship to Wallace State.

KDS Junior Grace Grdjan received 2nd place honors in Computer Generated Art.

KDS Senior Alex Phillipi earned 3rd place honors in Photography.
